Two trades, one finished space.

The builder left this garage the way most do: taped and mudded drywall, an unpainted water-heater platform, and a raw concrete slab still stained from construction. The homeowner wanted it to feel like an extension of the house, not a storage room, and wanted a floor that could take hot tires, dropped tools, and the occasional oil drip without a mark.

We handled the walls first. Everything was primed, then rolled in two coats of a deep charcoal that hides scuffs and makes the floor the star. Outlets, the panel cover, and the door trim were cut in cleanly by hand.

For the floor we diamond-ground the slab to open up the concrete, filled control joints and cracks, and rolled a pigmented navy base coat. While it was still wet we broadcast a white-and-grey vinyl flake to full coverage, scraped it smooth once cured, and locked it all down with a clear high-gloss topcoat. The result is a slip-resistant, chemical-resistant floor that looks like a dealership showroom.
